Photo to come

The Holy Trinity Convent at Lalur is the Aranattukara branch of a congregation that began in Spain, the Trinitarian Sisters of Madrid. The book describes their life as one of prayer and good works in honour of the Holy Trinity.

A short history

  • 2010: with the permission of Mar Andrews Thazhath, Archbishop of Thrissur, a house of religious formation opens here to train new sisters.
  • 2011: the sisters start the Holy Trinity Charitable Trust, which has since helped poor children with the cost of their schooling.
  • 2018: the parish opens the Angel Valley Pre-School in the Tharakan’s School compound, and the sisters have served there from the start.
  • 2020: a sister of this house becomes the first from India to take final vows in the congregation.
